LJ hasn't been loading well for me lately.

But basically:

So when you ask me where I was when Sidney Crosby banged home Jarome Iginla's desperate pass, I'll answer: "In an American-style pub in France with an Anglo-German-American and a Chinese-Norwegian who calls Canada his second home."

What a beautiful game.

There's only so much you can do to keep a Canadian away from hockey. XD I stayed up to listen to the Canada-Russia match, too (it started at 1:30 am local time.) In the end, so glad I went out to see it though, that was EPIC. (Thw two beers and the Nutella crepe helped too, I'm not going to lie.)

Also glad my postcard reached you (sorry it's so late though!) I thought about picking one up for you in Paris, then decided that made no sense since you've already been to Paris. :P

and i liked the one you got me a lot more, especially since paris is probably one of my least favourite parts of france... heh. you make me want to visit one day, if even only for a day trip! ♥
